Our senior Black Belts met on Saturday October 24 to offer thanks and farewell to Dr. John Haaland, our most senior member and Master Instructor of over 30 years. He was presented with a plaque bearing our logo (which he created). Dr. Haaland has headed many iterations of the Minnesota Taekwondo Center in the last few decades. We extend our sincere appreciation for his inspiration, education, and dedication.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you guys, but I want to say that Dr. Haaland was a mentor of mine in many ways, inside and out of the Do Jang. I wish him the best!! Please pass my email along to him as well..

Dr.Haaland did so much for myself i would not be the person I am today if I would never had met him. THANK YOU Dr. Haaland for all you done to help others through Tae Kwon Do.
